The well-received, London-based Apple TV thriller "Criminal Record," is gearing up for its second season, set to start in April.
Apple describes the series as "a powerful, character-driven drama set in the heart of contemporary London, exploring the impossibility of policing when the truth is up for grabs." The second season will see rival police officers forge an uneasy alliance after a young man is stabbed to death at a political rally.
Like its predecessor, "Criminal Record" season two will be eight episodes long. The first episode will debut on Wednesday, April 22, with new episodes weekly through Wednesday, June 10.
The series, filmed in London, stars Peter Capaldi of "Doctor Who" fame and Cush Jumbo, who is known for "The Good Wife." Dustin Demri-Burns ("Slow Horses"), Luca Pasqualino ("Rivals"), Luther Ford ("The Crown"), Lyndsey Marshal ("The Hours"), and Peter Sullivan ("Around the World in 80 Days") join the cast for the upcoming season.
The first season dropped in January 2024. It was highly praised by critics and viewers alike.
