An incremental update has been made available for iPhone and iPad, bringing them to iOS 26.4.1 and iPadOS 26.4.1. Release notes only share that the updates contain bug fixes.
While updates tend to be important feature-changing events, sometimes Apple releases some smaller patches for its operating systems. That is just the case with the version 26.4.1 release that happened today.
Incremental updates, like one changing from iOS 26.4 to iOS 26.4.1 don't usually include any major feature updates. They instead deal with smaller changes that cannot wait for the next main update release, such as fixes and compatibility changes.
The release notes say that the updates include Apple's usual collection of bug fixes and performance improvements.
