The outlet will be based at Marché Saint-Germain, deep into downtown Paris and not far from major landmarks like the Pantheon and Notre-Dame Cathedral. The grand opening will be at 10 a.m. local time. Typically, hours will run until 8 p.m. —the exception being Sundays, when the shop will operate between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The Paris area is already well-populated with Apple stores, and indeed Marché Saint-Germain is within walking distance of the Carrousel du Louvre location. Several are distant from the city core however, so a third downtown location could help serve heavy traffic in a city of over 2.2 million residents and large crowds of tourists.

The shop should follow the fashion-oriented aesthetics of other recent Apple stores, including touches like wooden shelves, an oversized video display, and possibly a tree grove, depending on how much interior space is available.
