Eve Systems has debuted several new accessories for HomeKit users including new Eve Light Switch, Eve Thermo, Eve Water Guard, and the availability of the Eve Extend.
The Eve Extend, which was previously announced, is now available for users to order. Eve Extend allows you to extend the range of your Bluetooth Eve products, allowing them to connect to Wi-Fi and operate further from your devices. Up to eight Eve devices can be connected to each Extend and additional Extends can be configured for different parts of the home.
It is available now for $49.95.
There is a new version of the Eve Light Switch debuting, now fitting European receptacles. It will now launch in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxemburg, and the Netherlands.
Eve Light Switch allows you to control your built-in lights and switch using Siri and HomeKit without requiring smart plugs or smart bulbs and can often be cheaper for rooms with several built-in lights like living rooms, kitchens, or bedrooms. It will start shipping October 1st.
An overhaul is coming for Eve Thermo ahead of the cold-weather season that includes a better display, feedback for touch controls, and a quieter motor. It will be available on September 16.
The Eve Water Guard alerts users instantly to any water leak both audibly, as well as on their iPhone or Apple Watch. It has a 4.3 foot-long sensing cable that can also be extended to cover more ground.
The new Eve Water Guard will ship in January 2020.

Haven't been a fan of Eve. I think their app lacks...and each time I open it to view a short-term history for temp / humidity in my home I have to wait 10 minutes or more, as history is loaded from oldest to newest. Ridiculous. I've contacted the company, and their reply was basically "it is what it is". No thanks.
Have had Eve apps since launch as ElGato Eve and have moved on.
Relative to the glacial updating, I have had the same problem and it happened that way regardless of how often the app was checked. The battery life is not great, the Bluetooth range is not good, the battery status report via the app is also not very accurate.
I have also had issues with the readings going stupid after replacing the batteries on both the inside and outside units.
They also have never released a thermostat for an modern HVAC system. Unless you live in an ancient New York apartment, radiators went out with tail fins on Cadillacs.
Moved on to Netatmo and Ecobee. The same for HomeKit.
