Haven't been a fan of Eve.  I think their app lacks...and each time I open it to view a short-term history for temp / humidity in my home I have to wait 10 minutes or more, as history is loaded from oldest to newest.  Ridiculous.  I've contacted the company, and their reply was basically "it is what it is".  No thanks.

The wait is because they store that data on the device and transfer it directly to their app on your iPhone when you check for it. They don't put any of it in cloud storage, which is a security selling point. If you check that data more frequently, it doesn't take that long to download the data. Also, in my experience, anyway, it's never taken longer than a couple of minutes, even in cases where I haven't checked for that info in weeks.

I understand that.  But I don't check the trend every day.  I would think a better approach would be to upload the data chronologically descending.  Then when I want to see the trend for the last 24 hours I'm not waiting for 15 minutes.  Or at least be able to set the option.

Have had Eve apps since launch as ElGato Eve and have moved on.

Relative to the glacial updating, I have had the same problem and it happened that way regardless of how often the app was checked. The battery life is not great, the Bluetooth range is not good, the battery status report via the app is also not very accurate.

I have also had issues with the readings going stupid after replacing the batteries on both the inside and outside units.

They also have never released a thermostat for an modern HVAC system. Unless you live in an ancient New York apartment, radiators went out with tail fins on Cadillacs.

Moved on to Netatmo and Ecobee. The same for HomeKit.

Yup this would def make more sense. And use lazy loading to pull the rest as needed, rather than all at once going back further than likely interested in.

They need a UX person rather than just engineers.
