Casey Wilson joins cast of Apple TV+ series 'The Shrink Next Door'

Casey Wilson has joined the cast of upcoming Apple TV+ dark comedy series "The Shrink Next Door," based on the Wondery podcast of the same name.

Wilson joins existing cast members Paul Rudd, Will Ferrell, and Kathryn Hahn. Wilson's addition comes just a couple of days after news broke of Hahn's role in the show.

The Apple TV+ series is inspired by true events and details the "bizarre" relationship between psychiatrist Dr. Isaac Herschkopf, played by Rudd, and longtime patient Martin "Marty" Markowitz," played by Ferrell.

Wilson will star as Bonnie, Dr. Herschkopf's wife, Variety reports. The role also sees the actor reunited with Hahn, who plays Marty's sister Phyllis. Wilson and Hahn previously appeared together on the HBO limited series "Mrs. Fletcher."

"The Shrink Next Door" is the second Wondery podcast that Apple has nabbed in 2020, and joins "WeCrashed: The Rise and all of WeWork." Apple is also said to be mulling an acquisition of Wondery.
