Pros are starting to look at Resolve more and more (I’m actively in those forums).

Several issues remain unaddressed, like the lack of a professional role-based audio mixer, custom layouts, Motion being extremely neglected such as the lack of 3D solver (also in FCPX) and particle system, poor round-tripping and so on. No innovation seems to be happening (e.g look at the AI/ML powered masking in Resolve).

Many FCPX editors have dozens of plugins in FCPX to make it powerful, but for a truly integrated experience you’d expect most of these tools to come with the tool.
Add a potential subscription model to it, and FCPX will be abandoned pretty quickly.
