Apple at Work update highlights enterprise 'success stories'

Last updated

Apple updated its Apple at Work webpage on Wednesday with a host of new testimonials from enterprise customers that illustrate how the tech giant's devices and services help bolster operations.

Businesses big and small use Apple products to streamline workflows, manage and track operations, increase customer engagement, deploy specialized tools and more. Enterprise customers make up a significant portion of Apple's sales and the company regularly touts new partnerships at keynotes, earnings updates and through a dedicated web portal.

An updated to the Apple at Work "Success Stories" webpage features new testimonials from Ash Cloud, BDC, Bestseller, BSH, Finnair, Fulton Hogan, Hastens, H-E-B, Tochigi Bank, Tokyo Metro and Zurich. They join previously highlighted stories from AIA, AXA, BDC, British Airways, BSH, Capital One, John Lewis & Partners, Rogers-O'Brien Construction, SKF and Vestas.

Apple breaks up the additions into six categories: retail, construction, finance, transportation, insurance and manufacturing. Promotional text and spotlight videos illustrate how Apple products and services can assist a particular sector. For example, Apple touts iPhone, iPad and Apple Pay support for point of sale operations in the retail category. The devices are also of use for scanning, looking up items, accessing digital records, performing inventory management and assisting in sales.

Each section features a main testimonial with an in-depth look at how Apple helps that particular company. In the case of manufacturing, BSH details how iPad, Apple Business Manager and other tools fit into its workflow.

"For BSH, iPad transforms the way their service engineers work, from optimizing their schedule for each day, to helping them identify decades-old parts. The ease and mobility of iPad combined with the power of custom iPadOS apps made in partnership with Apple and IBM, makes product information accessible, communication with the office simple, and allows for a powerful face-to-face relationship with the customer," Apple says.

The revamped Apple at Work page includes a wealth of information about Apple's enterprise tools and partnerships, and serves as a landing page for businesses looking to integrate with the tech giant's ecosystem.
