Apple's second retail location in Berlin, dubbed Apple Rosenthaler Strasse, will open on Thursday, December 2 in the Mitte borough.
In November, Apple officially announced that a second store would be opening in the Rosenthaler Strasse shopping district in the east side of Berlin.
As part of the grand opening, Today at Apple will host Parallel Universe, a collective of illustrators from Berlin. Each artist will draw their unique interpretation of Mitte's creative spirit on an iPad Pro. Apple plans to host a wide range of artists and creators who will display their takes on the local community.
"We're excited to open our second store in Berlin, right in the heart of Mitte," said Deirdre O'Brien, Apple's senior vice president of Retail + People, in a press release.
"Blending Apple's exceptional technology and tools with the creative passion we share with this community gives us the opportunity to create something really special for our customers in Germany."
The store will open on Thursday, December 2, at 10 a.m. CET in Berlin. Apple notes that on opening day, customers will be able to book an appointment for an introduction to the store and shopping only. In addition, the store will limit the number of customers allowed inside and observe social distancing protocols to prevent the unnecessary spread of COVID-19.
On December 3, the store will allow walk-in customers, Apple Pickup, Shop with a Specialist, and Genius support.
Customers will be required to wear a mask, comply with the 2G mandates, and will be expected to observe social distancing protocols. Those who would like to make an opening day reservation can head to the Apple Rosenthaler Strasse store page.

Maybe you meant Straße, not Strasse.
