Aqara P1 motion sensor and Nanoleaf Lines on the 100th HomeKit Insider

There's an all-new motion sensor from Aqara, review a new Nanoleaf product, and recommend some helpful smart tools for your garden on this week's HomeKit Insider.

In this week's news, Aqara has launched its new motion sensor, the Aqara P1. It is able to detect motion as well as light intensity for use with HomeKit. Additionally, its sensitivity level can be adjusted to hopefully cut down on false triggers.

Nexxt, Stephen has a mini-review of smart water bottle that automatically tells him how much water to drink. while Andrew reviews the new skins for Nanoleaf's Lines.

Separately, the Home Devices app was updated this week. It's an app that presents details of all your HomeKit devices, plus has a database of ones so you can check them out before buying.

What's new this time is that Home Devices has added support for HomeKey-enabled locks.

Otherwise, we chatted about some great HomeKit tools for the garden, expanding on AppleInsider's buying guide.

We did answer one listener question as well this week. Mama Lanch asked our thoughts on the SmartWings curtains.

I wouldn't suggest/recommend Rachio. They have some serious HK issues that have been going on for over 2 years now, and they have not been able to resolve. https://community.rachio.com/t/rachio-3-not-responding-in-homekit-again/17689/1602
