IOGEAR has announced several USB-C docking stations at CES 2023 to help people connect accessories and monitors to their computers.
The company announced a Dock Pro Universal Dual View Docking station, the Dock Pro Duo USB-C Docking Station, and a Dock Pro USB4 8K Triple View. Each one offers unique ways to connect peripherals to computers.
Dock Pro Universal Dual View Docking station
The Dock Pro Universal station lets people connect up to two 4K displays using HDMI or DisplayPort. It has nine ports to connect accessories, including one 3.5mm combo port for audio, two USB-A 3.0 Gen 1 ports that offer speeds up to 5Gbps, one USB-A 3.0 Gen 2 port with 10Gbps, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
For display output, the station offers two HDMI ports up to 4K at 60Hz and two DisplayPorts up to the same capacity. It also has a power delivery of up to 100W.
The Dock Pro Universal station will be available in June 2023 at $249.95.
Dock Pro Duo USB-C Docking Station
The Dock Pro Duo USB-C Docking Station is an excellent choice for people who need to share peripherals between two USB-C laptops, and it offers hotkey switching.
For external monitors, the docking station has an HMDI port up to 4096x2160 at 30Hz, and two DisplayPorts up to 4096x2160 at 60Hz.
It also has one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports that all offer 10Gbps data speeds. In addition, two USB-A 2.0 ports are included for a keyboard and mouse.
Additionally, it has one 3.5mm microphone input and one 3.5mm speaker output. Finally, one Gigabit Ethernet port completes the station.
It will be available in June 2023 for a price of $299.95.
Dock Pro USB4 8K Triple View
The final product from IOGEAR is the Dock Pro USB4 8K Triple View, which offers USB4 bandwidth with various options for port connectivity.
Two HDMI ports offer external monitor support up to 4K at 60Hz, while two DisplayPorts support up to 8K at 30Hz. Four USB4 ports can handle up to 8K at 30Hz as well.
Configurations include 8K at 30Hz single view, 4K at 60Hz dual view, or two 4K at 60Hz and one 4K at 30Hz for triple view.
Other ports include one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 that all offer 10Gbps speeds, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port at 5Gbps, an SD/Micro SD slot up to 312Mbps, one 2.5G Ethernet port, and one 3.5mm audio combo port.
The station can also charge mobile devices with a max output of 30W. It also features a Goshen Ridge Controller that supports Thunderbolt 4 up to 40Gbps.
IOGear will launch the Dock Pro USB4 8K Triple View in March 2023 for $299.95.
