Amazon-owned Ring has debuted new dash cam and peephole security cameras availability at the annual CES in Las Vegas.
After being previously teased, the Ring Car Cam is now going up for preorder starting on January 5 for $199.99. This dual-facing camera can monitor your vehicle while you're driving as well as when it is parked.
Its star sensors can detect events in and around your vehicle. If something like a break in or collision is detected recording will start and you'll get a real-time alert if you aren't in the vehicle.
The camera is speaker and microphones allowing you to communicate with whoever is in your car while you watch live.
Ring also is bringing back its peephole camera. The Ring Peephole Cam is ideal for apartments, condos, townhomes, or rentals by integrated directly into your door's built-in peephole.
It records at 1080P, has night vision, two-way communication, and knock and motion detection. It requires no permanent modification to install which is great for renters.
The Ring Peephole Cam will also launch on January 5 at a new price of $129.99.
