Get a free gift card with Costco membership.

Costco membership deals don't come around often, but AppleInsider readers can take advantage of one of the best warehouse membership deals we've seen to date.

For the price of a 1-year Gold Star membership ($60), shoppers can get a bonus $40 digital Costco Shop Card at StackCommerce. Costco offers warehouse discounts on thousands of items, from gourmet meals to save you time during the work week to name-brand clothing and electronics. It can also be used at Costco gas stations, with the membership often paying for itself in a month or less.

This Costco deal is valid for new members only and members whose memberships have been expired for more than 18 months that are located in the U.S. and Puerto Rico only. Qualified members will receive the $40 Digital Costco Shop Card by email within two weeks of redeeming their purchase. The offer must be redeemed by 01/27/24 to qualify for the promotion, but we encourage you to redeem it within 30 days of purchase.

The $40 gift card amount is the most we've seen given away with the $60 membership. Last year's Black Friday deal saw the gift card amount cap out at $30. Don't delay, though, as we do not know how long the Costco membership promotion will last.
