Fans of the Apple TV+ comedy "Mythic Quest" waiting for the fourth season have been given hope it will still return, thanks to one of its stars, Rob McElhenney.
"Mythic Quest" has so far aired three seasons on Apple TV+. But, while it was renewed for a fourth season in late 2021, there has been little clue of when it would air again.
Star Rob McElhenney did hint at the show's return on X, responding to a fan's query. When asked if there was going to be a fourth season "Or can I cancel my apple subscription?" the star offered they should "Maybe hold onto it."
McElhenney also shared a picture where he posed with costars in front of the logo of the show.

The third season "Mythic Quest" aired on Apple TV+ starting in November 2022. It is unclear when the fourth season itself will be made available for viewing, or for that matter, how far along production is.
In December of the same year, it was reported a spinoff titled "Mere Mortals" was being worked on. The spinoff was set to take the concept of episodes like "Dark Quiet Death" or "Backstory!" to step outside the usual plot to tell other stories.
The spinoff is written by Ashly Burch, John Howell Harris, and Kate McElhenney, with Ubisoft, Lionsgate, and 3Arts Entertainment producing it.
Like season four, details of the production and release of the spinoff is also unknown at this time.

This was one of the first shows I started watching when I activated my free trial in the end of 2022. It was See, Mythic Quest, then Ted Lasso. (Followed by For all Mankind and Foundation). Was it cringe worthy yes but that’s why it was great and I really thought Apple was hinting of doing some gaming specific changes which i guess they did?
YES PLEASEEEE bring this back! I’m sick of all the mystery dramas on TV+. Gimme some comedy. Hell I’ll even watch Central Park again for something different and that show sucked. TV+ DESPERATELY needs variety.
I loved the first season... Like a lot of shows it's quality kinda drifted lower in season 2 & 3.. Maybe the longer hiatus will bring back that season 1 magic.
Update the art, F Murray Abraham isn't in it any more.
This is an incredibly good show.
