Two of Apple's latest MacBook Pros are heavily discounted exclusively for AppleInsider readers, knocking $350 off the popular M4 Pro configurations through Feb. 23.

You can opt for the 14-inch or 16-inch MacBook Pro screen size featuring an M4 Pro chip with a 14-core CPU and 20-core GPU. Each laptop has 48GB of memory, double the amount found in the standard M4 Pro model, along with 1TB of storage for enhanced performance and storage space.

The exclusive discounts shave $350 off both models in Space Black, with the 14-inch spec ringing in at $2,449 and the 16-inch variation priced at $2,749.

The laptops also come with free 2-day shipping within the contiguous U.S., so you can get your new machine right away, but the deals end Feb. 23.

If you're a Payboo cardholder or want to become one, the store card offers an instant sales tax refund in select states or special financing as an added perk. With sales tax reaching 10.35% in some areas, the savings really add up and can deliver another $250 to $285 back on top of the exclusive discount.

To activate the offers, you must shop through a laptop or desktop computer in lieu of going through the B&H mobile app.

Apple needs to fix their storage and memory pricing. It seems wildly out of line. I priced out a Framework 13 laptop with 96GB of ram and a 4TB SSD and it was less than $2300. That only gets you 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage for an 14" M4 Pro, and if you go up to the max of 48 GB with 4 TB of storage, you're going to pay $3800.

Interested to see what Framework announces on Feb 25th. Been a Mac user since before the Power PC era, but maybe time to give Linux a try.
