With Find My built in, Chipolo's latest rechargeable trackers last longer that before, and are louder when triggered.
On August 27, 2025, the company announced its new premium trackers. The new models represent a shift from the company's previous replaceable-battery models.
Chipolo is launching new devices in response to customer complaints and environmental concerns. These devices have a battery life of approximately six months per charge, reducing waste.
They are constructed from shells containing at least 50% post-consumer recycled plastic. Both products have received Red Dot Design awards for 2025.
Design & build
The new Chipolo Loop is designed to be keychain-friendly. It features a flexible Loop and a glossy central button, available in navy, mint, honey, coral, charcoal, and chalk colors.
The product combines durability with a playful touch. It charges via USB-C, eliminating the need for a proprietary cable.
Meanwhile, the Chipolo Card is aimed squarely at wallets. Slim, Card-sized, and finished in matte charcoal with a glossy accent button, it slips neatly between credit Cards.
Its side-corner speaker projects sound outward, making the Card easier to hear when it's buried in a couch. A double press on the button even rings your phone in reverse-finder mode.
Battery & performance
Both devices ditch coin-cell batteries for rechargeable ones rated at about six months per charge. The Loop plugs in via USB-C, while the Card rests on any Qi wireless charger and automatically centers itself on the coil.
Chipolo doesn't bundle chargers, a cost-saving move that shifts the burden to the buyer.
Range has been extended to about 400 feet, or 120 meters, and the alert volume jumps to 110 dB for the Card and 125 dB for the Loop. That's in the ballpark of a jackhammer, so if you can't find your keys, the neighbors might.
Compatibility & software
The devices tie into either Apple's Find My network or Google's Find Hub. That covers iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches on one side, and Android phones or tablets running Android 9 or later on the other .
Chipolo offers an app with features like out-of-range alerts, ringtone changes, and a "Call Your Phone" option. New features include Ring and Blink, which illuminate the tracker while it rings, and adjustable volume controls.
Both tracker models are IP67-rated, allowing them to withstand dust and brief water immersion. These enhancements improve the functionality and durability of the Chipolo trackers.
Pricing & availability
The Chipolo Card and Chipolo Loop are both priced at $39. Preorders opened August 27, 2025, through Chipolo's official site and Amazon. Wider retail rollout is slated for late September 2025, with availability at T-Mobile stores and select independent retailers.
Both models ship without chargers, so buyers will need to rely on existing USB-C or Qi pads. That decision keeps the box smaller and cheaper to ship, though it also shifts costs back to the user.
