Apple CEO Tim Cook has said the company will donate to relief efforts after a pair of earthquakes ravaged northern Venezuela.
On Wednesday evening, a pair of earthquakes, known as a doublet, struck Venezuela's northern coast. The first was a 7.2 magnitude quake, followed by a magnitude 7.5 quake less than one minute later, according to the Associated Press.
The earthquakes have left thousands of people injured and have killed at least 589 people at the time of publication. As expected, Cook took to X to announce that the company would be donating to relief efforts on the ground.
All those affected by the catastrophic earthquake in Venezuela are in our thoughts, and we thank the first responders for helping everyone in harm's way. Apple will be donating to relief efforts on the ground.

Apple routinely donates to relief efforts worldwide. In October 2025, it pledged aid to relief efforts after Hurricane Melissa struck the Caribbean.
The following month, it offered aid in the wake of a deadly fire that devastated a high-rise apartment complex in Hong Kong.
