Apple has launched a new immersive experience for the Apple Vision Pro, taking viewers to the flight deck of a US carrier, and flying alongside its pilots.

Just days after it was reported that there would be more immersive experiences for the Apple Vision Pro, Apple has released one. Called "Flight Ready," it has been launched to mark Veterans' Day.

As first spotted by 9to5mac, it is a 14-minute film that centers on the USS Nimitz and its F-18 fighter planes.

"Report to the flight deck of the USS Nimitz," says Apple's description, "and strap in with F-18 fighter pilots for a full-throttle ride through the skies."

The aerial film follows Apple Vision Pro's previously most striking immersive experience, October 2024's under sea movie "Submerged."

In the year since that was released, it's become more practical for third-party studios to film for Apple Vision Pro. Alongside the release of cameras specifically for the headset's videos, there is now more editing software.

In August 2025, for instance, the paid version of video editing app DaVinci Resolve Studio added support for viewing and editing Apple Spatial Video.

It's not known yet what equipment was used in the making of the new film. Nor is it known whether there will ever be a separate 2D release for regular Apple TV.

What is known is that at the moment, the video can only be watched through the Apple TV app on Apple Vision Pro. However, the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac list the new film alongside related military documentaries that can be watched.

Apple recently updated the Apple Vision Pro to use an M5 processor, but it hasn't made any other significant updates since launch.
