Satechi's latest OntheGo 7-in-1 Multiport Adapter is a compact USB-C hub for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that blends port expansion with MagSafe convenience.

On Thursday, Satechi expanded its OntheGo lineup with a new 7-in-1 Multiport Adapter. The device is small enough to fit in your palm yet offers the functionality of a desktop dock.

The new device is about the size of a hockey puck and the company says that it's lighter than a deck of cards. The adapter is perfect for remote professionals, creators, and students who need to stay connected while traveling.

The braided USB-C cable coils neatly around the hub to avoid tangling. Plus, the magnetic base attaches directly to MagSafe iPhones for a clutter-free setup.

Devices without MagSafe can mount tablets, laptops, and other USB-C gear using the included 3M adhesive ring. The design follows Satechi's aesthetic — dark metal finish, smooth lines, and premium materials that fit Apple hardware.

Seven essential ports in one hub

Despite its compact size, the OntheGo adapter includes seven ports that cover most mobile workstation needs.

  • HDMI supporting 4K at 60 Hz
  • Two USB-A ports with 5 Gbps transfer speeds
  • SD and microSD card readers up to 2 TB
  • Gigabit Ethernet for wired connections
  • USB-C Power Delivery input with up to 100 W pass-through

Satechi says it's engineered for smooth performance with iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone 17 Pro models. It also works with iPads, Macs, Windows PCs, Android devices, and ChromeOS systems.

The OntheGo hub's portability makes it especially useful for travel or hybrid work. You can plug it into your iPhone to offload photos, connect an SD card from a camera, or link to a monitor for a presentation.

Creators working on-site can import media directly from storage cards, while remote workers can connect a mouse, keyboard, and Ethernet cable for a stable setup.

The 100-watt pass-through charging keeps MacBooks and high-power tablets running even when every port is in use. An external power adapter is still required, and not included.

Part of a growing mobile ecosystem

The new adapter fits within Satechi's growing OntheGo family, which focuses on accessories for travel-ready professionals. The company's design language continues to mirror Apple's own, offering clean lines, metal finishes, and simple functionality.

Satechi's co-founder and president Brock Guclu said the adapter was created to give people "the freedom to work and connect wherever life takes you," framing it as part of a shift toward fully mobile, high-performance setups.
