Global brand LG is launching a new line of high resolution monitors ahead of CES 2026, including two gaming monitors, and one model particularly suited to Mac users.

For the initial round of monitors under the new brand, LG is including three models — 39GX950B, 27GM950B, and 52G930B. The GM9 will be the most enticing for Apple users and claims to fix one of mini LED's biggest issues.

"The new UltraGear evo marks a definitive turning point, signaling the end of compromises in gaming display performance," said Lee Choong-hwoan, head of the Display Business at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. With innovations like industry-first 5K AI Upscaling, the lineup ensures that whether gamers prefer perfect blacks, unmatched brightness, or expansive scale, they can enjoy the same high standard of performance, clarity and immersion in high resolution."

The GM9 is a 27-inch mini LED monitor with a 5K display. LG has worked to drastically reduce the halo, or blooming effects that often plague mini LED displays.

Blooming was an early complaint on the M1 iPad Pro. Apple has since moved to a tandem OLED design.

The GM9 also boasts 2,304 local dimming zones, 1,250 nits of peak brightness, and up to 330Hz on compatible devices at QHD resolution. It also has on-device AI for image upscaling, scene optimization, and audio enhancement.

LG's GX9 is a 39-inch 5K2K OLED model, also with AI image upscaling. It's a curved monitor primarily being billed as a gaming monitor thanks to its ultra-fast response time of .03ms.

There's also the LG G9 which is currently touted as the world's largest 52-Inch 5K2K 240Hz gaming monitor. It has a 240Hz refresh rate, HDR, and a curved design.

All three monitors will be shown at CES 2026 in Las Vegas when sales will begin. Pricing has yet to be announced.
