Savant-owned GE Lighting was at CES 2026 with its latest Matter-compatible smart home devices, including new shades that will work with Apple Home.
GE smart shades are launching with a simple, screw-free installation process and come in different white and gray fabrics in both black out and light filtering options. They connect with Matter-over-Thread to all major ecosystems, such as Apple Home.
The built-in battery will last up to six months on a single charge and power a near-silent high-efficiency motor. They're available starting at $299 from Amazon and will fit windows up to 76 inches.
GE also announced new Canopy smart bulbs at the annual tech show, but stopped short of calling them out as Matter-enabled. They likely don't work natively in Apple Home.
