Hunter Fan Company is wholly embracing Matter as it greatly expands its product offerings at CES 2026. The brand introduced several new accessories compatible with Apple Home.
The big two announcements from Hunter Fan Company are its HunterSmart accessories and its ZenTech collection. The former encompasses several different smart accessories, while the latter is a new lineup of smart fans.
HunterSmart is starting out with several essentials: a smart plug, dimmer switch, wall panel, and smart fan upgrade kit for existing ceiling fans. All boast Matter support, as well as support for Apple Home.
We're most intrigued by the wall panel and the upgrade kit. They're unique solutions that aren't commonplace in the smart home market.
Hunter's unique smart wall panel
The smart wall panel has a touchscreen interface to control lights, fans, and scenes. It can also show other ambient information, like the time and the weather.
For the upgrade kit, it allows you to turn any ceiling fan into a Matter-controlled model without the need to replace it. It is compatible with most AC fans, though not DC ones.

With Matter, it provides independent control of both the fan speed and lighting. There are few fan controllers on the market, so this is very welcomed.
ZenTech, on the other hand, is a new lineup of slim ceiling fans. There are various styles that use a new DC motor that is 43% smaller than traditional motors.

Other features include Hunter's SureSpeed technology for superior airflow, Energy Star certification, and whisper-quiet operation. The integrated LED lighting has ten different color temperatures and brightness control.
They are suited for covered outdoor or indoor use. The smaller indoor/outdoor fans are $379.99 and the larger outdoor-only fans are $399.99 and are available from the Hunter Fan website.
