Withings is doing more than ever with its latest smart scale, the Body Scan 2. AT CES, the brand is calling it a "longevity station" with more than 60 biomarkers and Apple Health integration.
French tech company Withings all but invented the smart scale market segment. After its divorce from Nokia in 2018, it is out with its newest connected health product at CES 2026.
Body Scan 2 is a tempered glass smart scale with a retractable handle, color display, and 8 embedded electrodes. It can complete a full scan in 90 seconds and will last 15 months on a rechargeable battery.
"The most powerful place to reinvent preventive health is the connected scale," said Eric Carreel, Founder & President of Withings. "It's the only moment where we naturally engage our whole body — hands, feet, posture — allowing us to capture more biomarkers in 90 seconds than any wearable can collect in weeks. Body Scan 2 turns this everyday gesture into a deep health assessment."
Like Apple, Withings is focusing on rising health issues in the population. This new model is able to deliver notifications of hypertension risk, assess cardiac pumping efficiency with impedance cardiography (ICG), and evaluate cellular and metabolic health with bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS).
In total, the 60 different health metrics are recorded to the Withings app for analysis over time, with many syncing to the Apple Health app. It will launch in Q2 of 2026 for $599.95.
