Apple TV hit "The Studio" is the most nominated series in the forthcoming SAG-AFTRA Actor Awards, with nods as well for "Slow Horses," "F1," and more.

Just beating 2025's nominations, Apple TV has had 12 nods at the Actor Awards. "The Studio" had the most nominations with five, just ahead of four for the next most-nominated show, "The White Lotus," across three categories:

  • Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series: Ike Barinholtz, Seth Rogen
  • Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series: Kathryn Hahn, Catherine O'Hara
  • Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series: The Studio

The comedy series Outstanding Female Actor category also saw a nomination for Kristen Wiig and her performance in "Palm Royale" for Apple TV. That was the sole nomination for "Palm Royale."

"Slow Horses" and "The Morning Show" also received a single nomination each, both in the same category. Gary Oldman and Billy Crudup are nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.

The equivalent category for women in drama also sees two Apple TV shows competing against each other. In this case it's Britt Lower for "Severance," and Rhea Seehorn for "Pluribus."

"Severance" also scored a nomination for Lower and all of the main cast in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category.

All of these are in the television categories of the Actor Awards. In the film categories, Apple TV scored just one nod with a nomination for "F1: The Movie" for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture.

The 32nd Actor Awards will also include a lifetime achievement award for Harrison Ford, currently starring in Apple's "Shrinking" comedy.

Previously known as the SAG Awards (after the Screen Actors Guild), the ceremony was renamed in November 2025. Awards showrunner Jon Brockett and SAG-AFTRA chair JoBeth Williams, stated that the change was to acknowledge what the industry always called the ceremony.

"Since the show started over 30 years ago, our iconic statuette has always been called The Actor, and simply evolving the show's name to align with the award itself made obvious sense," they said in a joint statement at the time. "We wanted to provide clearer recognition in terms of what the show is about for our domestic and global audiences — we honor actors in film and television."

The 32nd Actor Awards will be streamed live around the world on Netflix on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
