Carriers in the US offer free perks for choosing them as your wireless provider. Here's how to check for unclaimed benefits for Apple Services on your iPhone and iPad.
Depending on your carrier, you may have a variety of freebies offered to you. These enticements are made available to convince you to choose one carrier over another and — depending on your cellular bill — may provide great savings for users.
For example, Verizon in the US offers users on specific unlimited plans free access to Apple One with Apple Music, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, and Apple TV+. T-Mobile gifts users with Apple TV+ MLS Season Pass and MLB.TV with qualifying plans.
But sometimes, it isn't apparent what benefits you qualify for or how to check for them in the first place. Here's how to do so directly from your iPhone or iPad so you don't miss out.
How to check for free carrier benefits on iPhone and iPad
- To start, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your Apple ID at the top
- Choose subscriptions under your Apple ID
- Scroll to the bottom of the list of your active and inactive subscriptions to see your carrier benefits button
- Tap "(Your carrier) Plan Benefits" to see any available plan benefits you haven't accepted
Important: This won't apply to all carriers. If your carrier isn't supported, you won't see the plan benefits option.
In our case, we have no plan benefits, but if you do, you'll see them listed in the modal, and it will guide you through the setup process to take advantage of them.
Carrier benefits change over time, so even if you have none available now, check back regularly to ensure you don't miss any additional perks later.
