A trio of popular apps — Â Amazon Instant Video, Lyft and Seamless — all gained native-resolution support for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on Thursday, joining a number of others also updated this week. In addition, JetBlue airlines added Touch ID logins for TrueBlue members, while SwiftKey is providing users with a free, festive holiday keyboard theme.
iPhone 6 and 6 Plus support
Since the launch of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in September, applications have gradually been updated to take advantage of the native resolution of their larger respective 4.7- and 5.5-inch displays.
On Thursday, three new applications joined that list, perhaps most notably Amazon Instant Video. Version 2.9.5 is a 38.6-megabyte download that features improved support for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus screen sizes, as well as bug fixes and stability improvements.
Also updated Thursday was popular restaurant delivery service Seamless, which also packed iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support into version 3.8. Assorted bug fixes can also be found in the free download.
Finally, private car service Lyft also added support for the resolutions of the new iPhones with version 2.10.2 on Thursday. The update also includes what the developer says are "behind-the-scenes bug fixes and improvements."
Other noteworthy apps updated for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus earlier this week include:
JetBlue
The official app for JetBlue airlines was also updated to version 2.8 on Thursday with iOS compatibility improvements. Most significantly, users can now log into their TrueBlue account and view their points by using Touch ID rather than entering a password.
The latest JetBlue app also lets users view their flight status from the Today View, generate a mobile boarding pass for multiple customers on the same flight, and receive messages when services may be down.
The app has also been updated with better social integration, more detailed error messages, and a variety of bug fixes. The official JetBlue app is a free 8.6-megabyte download that requires iOS 7.0 or later.
SwiftKey
Finally, popular third-party keyboard SwiftKey was given an update on Thursday with a new free holiday theme The "festive keyboard makeover" is available within version 1.1 of SwiftKey.
The new update also makes it easier to find information with a searchable help section in the app. Users can also import keyboard shortcuts from Apple settings.
Finally, SwiftKey 1.1 also adds support for tagging people in Google+ and Facebook. The app requires iOS 8.0 or later, and it has already been optimized for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Love the JetBlue App. Had no idea of capability for messages until I got an alert on my iPhone to a gate change while I was waiting to board couple months ago. They've also always been very "Mac friendly". Many many many years ago, all the informational videos on their web site were all done in QuickTime and QTVR. This was in the days when almost everything was done in WMP (pre FLV even), in the old Internet Explorer days.
