More details continue to emerge on luxury fashion brand Coach's plans to release a lineup of leather bands for the Apple Watch, set to come in nine different styles when they launch later this year.
Associates for Coach revealed more information about the upcoming bands to Haute Ecriture. They indicated that the nine bands will include white, black, saddle and red, and they will be priced at $150 each.
Some bands will also feature patterns — Â pictures show a few designs with flower stitchings.
Details on Coach's Apple Watch bands first surfaced last week, when it was suggested the product could become available as soon as June. However, in Monday's report it was said that they may not actually launch until this fall.
It's unknown at this point whether Coach is working with Apple on the bands, or if the products are being designed and launched independently. Apple did partner with Hermes for a special edition of the Apple Watch, which launched in January.
Since the Apple Watch went on sale a year ago, Apple has introduced new band styles and colors on a regular basis, keeping options for the wearable device fresh. The company launched a range of new nylon bands in March at an event unveiling the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

For $150 this is a much better deal than the standard Apple leather bands. The Coach bands should be better quality leather (not as good as the Hermes, but not as rubbery feeling as the Apple bands).
Meh.
I haven't liked any of the bands in the leaked pictures. None of them look good with the Apple Watch, IMO.
