One of the traditions of Thanksgiving is to watch Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, which features a variety of floats and giant balloons floating through New York for the entertainment of everyone watching from the street. The 91st parade features 26 floats and 45 balloons, with new additions including Olaf from Frozen, characters from PAW Patrol, and Dr. Seuss' The Grinch.
Celebrities appearing in the parade include Jimmy Fallon and the Roots, Flo Rida, the Goo Goo Dolls, 98 Degrees, and the Muppets of Sesame Street.
While it is possible to view the procession from the streets, most people will witness the festivities from home, with a special broadcast on Thursday at 9am for all US time zones on NBC. Aside from watching it through normal broadcasts, it can also be viewed via the NBC Live stream on the broadcaster's website, the NBC apps for iOS and the Apple TV.
It is also possible to watch NBC through subscription-based Internet TV services including Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, DirecTV Now, YouTube TV, and Hulu's Live TV offering, though availability of NBC and other channels will vary depending on the market and the selected package.
