Apple TV+ has released a trailer for "Physical," a series that follows a determined housewife in 1980s Southern California as she begins to build an aerobics empire.

Following an initial announcement in February 2021, the new minute-long trailer serves as a quick teaser to get viewers acquainted with the show. It begins by showing the main character, Sheila, daydreaming about being a backup dancer to cope with her role as a dutiful housewife.
Apple's description reads, "Sheila Rubin is a quietly tormented housewife in '80s San Diego, who behind closed door battles extreme personal demons and a vicious inner voice. But things change when she discovers aerobics, sparking a journey toward empowerment and success."
The 10-episode series is billed as a dark comedy and will premiere on Apple TV+ on June 18.
The series was created by Annie Weisman, previously best known as a writer and producer on "Desperate Housewives," and "Suburgatory." It stars stars Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Rose Byrne as the lead.
Also starring are comedian Rory Scovel, Paul Sparks ("House of Cards"), Lou Taylor Pucci ("Evil Dead"), Della Saba ("Steven Universe"), and Ashley Liao ("Fuller House.")
"Physical" joins other Apple TV+ comedies, including sports comedy "Ted Lasso" and workplace-meets-gaming comedy "Mythic Quest."

Dark comedies aren't really my thing, anymore than "awkward" comedies are. I'm looking forward to Ted Lasso and Mythic Quest S2.
Should be good!
