"Who Are You, Charlie Brown?" is coming to Apple TV+ on June 25, featuring interviews with friends, family, and famous fans of the famous comic strip "Peanuts."
The documentary is the latest in Apple's offering from the famous "Peanuts" property. It honors the creator Charles M. Schulz through interviews with various personalities who love the comic strip.
"Who Are You, Charlie Brown?" interweaves an animated story that follows Charlie Brown on a quest to discover himself. People interviewed include Jean Schulz, the widow of Charles Schulz, along with Drew Barrymore, Al Roker, Kevin Smith, Billie Jean King, Paul Feig, Ira Glass, Noah Schnapp, Miya Cech, Keith L. Williams, Chip Kidd, Lynn Johnston, Robb Armstrong, and more.
Imagine Documentaries is making the special for Apple TV+ and were previously responsible for "Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10." The executive producer list is extensive as well, featuring Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Sara Bernstein and Justin Wilkes of Imagine, Josh Scherba, Anne Loi and Stephanie Betts of WildBrain, Craig Schulz and Paige Braddock of Peanuts, and Michael Bonfiglio, who also writes and directs.
The new "Who Are You, Charlie Brown?" will air on Apple TV+ on June 25. Customers can subscribe to the service for $4.99 per month or via any tier of the Apple One subscription bundle.
