Latest Apple Pay promo delivers discounts on back-to-school purchases

Apple's latest Apple Pay promotion brings savings for back-to-school shoppers, from Bed Bath & Beyond rewards to special discounts from J.Crew.

The new promo was announced in an email to Apple Pay users on Thursday and includes an offer for 15% in My Funds rewards at Bed Bath & Beyond when shopping with Apple's payments service through the retailer's app.

Both Billabong and Quicksilver are offering 30% off any single item with promo code "APPLEPAY." Lands' End is providing Apple Pay users a discount of 45% off full-priced styles when using the same code at checkout.

Finally, J.Crew is giving customers an extra $25 off when they spend $150 or more. The brand also requires customers to input the promo code "APPLEPAY" at time of purchase.

Aside from the Bed Bath & Beyond deal, this week's offers are also available through each company's respective website. The promotion runs through Aug. 11.

Apple routinely partners with retailers, brands, service providers and app makers to boost Apple Pay engagement. Last week, the the company jumped on the summer fun bandwagon with deals from Sonic, ParkWhiz and HotelTonight.
