'Lego Star Wars Battles' coming soon to Apple Arcade

Collect and upgrade "Lego Star Wars" characters, troops, and vehicles to create light and dark side armies. This real-time strategy game offers player-versus-player real-time multiplayer matches spanning multiple eras of the "Star Wars" franchise.

TT Games hasn't provided a release date, but Apple Arcade games tend to launch within a month of being added to the pre-order list. Apple Arcade subscribers can go ahead and "Get" the game, so it automatically downloads to their device once it launches.

More specifically, the game is set in the "Lego Star Wars" franchise, which is a somewhat more comedic and child-friendly take on the "Star Wars" universe. Lego is expected to release its next game, "Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga" in March 2022.

While this isn't the first Lego property on Apple Arcade, it is the first "Star Wars" property, and the first made by TT Games on the App Store. "Lego Brawls" and "Lego: Builder's Journey" were both produced by the Lego company.

Apple Arcade subscribers will gain access to "Lego Star Wars Battles" once it releases. Subscribe for $4.99 per month or via any tier of the Apple One subscription bundle.
