Apple drops price of second-generation AirPods to $129

After debuting the third-generation AirPods on Monday, Apple has dropped the price of the second-generation AirPods model to just $129.
The second-generation AirPods model, which first launched in 2019, feature a more traditional Apple EarPods design. They also pack a proprietary H1 chip for easy painting with Apple devices.
Apple's new $129 price point for the second-generation AirPods is significantly lower than the previous retail price tags of $159 for the non-wireless model and $199 for the variant with the wireless charging case. The new price is even cheaper than AirPods found on some third-party retailers.
Currently, it isn't clear if the $129 price applies to the AirPods with no wireless charging case or the model compatible with wireless charging.
It's worth pointing out that Apple's third-generation AirPods, which have a more MagSafe support.
