Apple has restarted the beta process once again, providing developers with the first builds of iOS 15.3, iPadOS 15.3, tvOS 15.3, HomePod software version 15.3, and watchOS 8.4.
The latest builds can be downloaded by developers in the beta-testing scheme via the Apple Developer Center, or as an over-the-air update for hardware already using earlier beta builds. A public beta version of the releases usually arrives shortly after the developer counterpart, and will be available through the Apple Beta Software Program website.
Apple is starting a new round for this generation, after shipping the final release versions of iOS 15.2, iPadOS 15.2, tvOS 15.2, and watchOS 8.3 on December 13.
The iOS and iPadOS 15.3 betas carry a build number of 19D5026g. The first tvOS beta is build number 19K5527e, while watchOS 8.4's first build is number 19S5525f. The HomePod software version 15.2 build number is 19K5527d. There are no known new features associated with these betas yet.
Both AppleInsider and Apple itself strongly recommend users avoid installing betas onto "mission-critical" or primary devices, due to the remote chance of data loss or other problems. Instead, testers should install betas onto secondary or non-essential devices, and to make sure there are sufficient backups of important data before updating.
