Players can help Hello Kitty restore an abandoned theme park to its former glory in a new open-world adventure game on Apple Arcade.
Sanrio's first Apple Arcade title, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, allows players to design their own Sanrio-style character. Players will have fun uncovering unique plots, solving puzzles, playing fun mini-games, and finding treasure.
The game features plenty of popular Sanrio characters, such as Badtz-Maru, Cinnamaroll, Keroppi, Kuromi, and Hello Kitty herself. Each character can team up with the player to help them on their journey.
The game comes from a partnership between Sanrio and Colorado-based developer Sunblink.
"Combining our core values of friendship, kindness, and inclusivity, and Apple Arcade's inclusive and family-friendly offering, we aim to unite a community around the world through friendship, play, and positive connections with the launch of Hello Kitty Island Adventure," said Craig Takiguchi, chief operating officer of Sanrio, Inc.
According to Apple, Hello Kitty Island Adventure has over 40 hours of gameplay, with more to be added over time. The game can be played either solo or with a friend.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure joins other Apple Arcade titles, such as Stardew Valley+, Sneaky Sasquatch, and Cooking Mama: Cuisine!.
Apple Arcade is available as a subscription for $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. One subscription gives a family of six unlimited access to a catalog of over 200 titles.

Hello Kitty or Miffy (Nijntje)?
As a casual gamer, the Apple Arcade and PlayStation Plus subscriptions I have are absolutely satisfactory. The annual fees isn't much and there are a whole host of great games to play. I'll definitely say hello to Kitty!
