Apple TV+ scores 16 nominations for 2024 Critics Choice Awards

Apple continues to rake in nominations for Apple TV+ content, with "The Morning Show" and "Lessons in Chemistry" getting 10 of the 16 nominations at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards.

With "Ted Lasso" supposedly ending with season 3, Apple TV+ needs a new award winner to take the spotlight. The 2024 Critics Choice Awards suggest that "Shrinking" might be the one to watch.

According to Variety, Apple TV+ content showed up in several nomination categories. Despite "Ted Lasso" airing in 2023 and being eligible for awards, Apple's biggest show only saw one nomination this time.

"The Morning Show" leads the nomination pack with six nominations, including Best Drama Series. The Apple TV+ limited series "Lessons in Chemistry" has four total nominations, while "Shrinking," which hails from the "Ted Lasso" creators, has three nominations.

The Apple TV+ hit drama "The Morning Show" may still be going strong, and has been renewed for more seasons, it is likely on its way out. And with "Lessons in Chemistry" acting as a limited series, that leaves "Shrinking" as the next Apple TV+ breadwinner.

The 2024 Critics Choice Awards will be held on January 14, 2024, where the winners will be announced. Nominations for the film categories will be revealed on December 13.
