The Major League Soccer season pass is back for Apple TV, with soccer fans in over 100 countries able to sign up to watch the 2024 season, along with an expansion of Multiview.
Ahead of the February 21 kick-off of the 2024 Major League Soccer season, the MLS Season Pass is now available to repurchase on Apple TV. The pass provides access to every MLS game broadcast without any blackouts.
Along with the matches, the pass includes in-depth coverage and analysis, and exclusive content. This includes the Leagues Cup, MLS All-Star, and Audi MLS Cup Playoffs games. This season will also include a first-of-its-kind whip-around show for Spanish-speaking fans.
Before the season itself, a series of four preseason friendlies for Inter Miami will be broadcast, starting from January 29. The list includes matches at Al Hilal SFC, Al-Nassr FC, Hong Kong Team, and Newell's Old Boys, Lionel Messi's childhood club.
"The first year of our partnership with Major League Soccer exceeded expectations and brought MLS to more fans than ever before," said Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Services. "We look forward to building upon that momentum, celebrating Messi's first full season with the league, and delivering MLS fans the best experience possible."
Multiview, a feature enjoyed by subscribers on Apple TV 4K devices, is also being brought over to iPad. The feature allows users to watch up to four simultaneous matches at once.
A more personalized experience is available for fans who set their favorite club in the pass. Once selected, their team's matches will appear automatically in the Up Next watchlist, with club pages and notifications also available.
The MLS Season Pass costs $99 for the entire season or $14.99 per month, with Apple TV+ subscribers paying $79 for the season.
