Apple begins notifying WWDC invite lottery winners

WWDC is held at Apple Park

If you're a developer who applied to attend WWDC, Apple has begun notifying the lucky few selected to attend in person.

Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference takes place every June, and while it is mostly prerecorded video, there is still an in-person component. Swift Student Challenge winners, press, and some lucky developers get to travel to Apple Park.

Developers have started posting their emailed invitations across social media. Those who won the lottery must claim their seat to ensure it isn't released for someone else to grab.

Those invited will attend a welcome reception at Infinite Loop on Sunday, June 9. The keynote will be on June 10, viewed from staging at Apple Park, and activities will be held at the Developer Center on June 11.

Apple is expected to reveal its usual operating system updates like iOS 18 and macOS 15. However, all eyes are on what Apple will reveal pertaining to its AI strategy.

WWDC will be held from June 10 to June 14. The video keynote and sessions will be viewable by everyone online, including YouTube.
