Red Hook Studios' "Darkest Dungeon II" is now allowing players of the turn-based roadtrip from Hell to play the game on macOS.
Darkest Dungeon II is a sequel in the Red Hook Studios franchise, which invites players to take a team of warriers through an intense journey. For the sequel, the roguelike takes the form of a roadtrip, where the player's party is attempting to stave off the apocalypse.
As players continue their journey, they face turn-based battles against enemies blocking their path. The stressful encounters can affect the player's heroes, further impacting the story.
As part of an update on August 23, Red Hook Studios confirmed it was launching native macOS support for the game on all of the major PC-gaming platforms. This includes Steam, GoG, and the Epic Game Store, though not all have the new version at the time of publication.
"We hope those of you who purchased the game early and played it via a Windows emulator or dual boot, can now play it natively on macOS. Or if you're a Mac-only user, now's your chance to join the action," the developer writes.
The addition of macOS support for Darkest Dungeon II follows after the first game, which was also brought out on Mac.
The system requirements for Darkest Dungeon II requires a dual-core 2.4GHz Intel chip with 4GB of memory, 5GB of storage, and an Intel HD 5000 or better GPU.

How did Red Hook Studios get away without posting any App Privacy Statement on the Apple App Store? And why would this company not want buyers to know how much data they are taking off our computer?
