Amazon extends its popular $199 iPad deal into September, but supply may be limited

Snap up an iPad for just $199.

Amazon's $199 iPad 9th Generation deal has been extended into September, delivering the lowest price on record on remaining inventory.

The $199 iPad special is classified as a "limited-time deal" on Amazon, so it could end at any time.

The 256GB model, which was also heavily discounted for Labor Day, has sold out already, leaving the 64GB Wi-Fi model for $199 left for shoppers to snap up. The 64GB spec originally retailed for $329, making the $130 markdown a top iPad deal.

While the 9th Generation is a closeout model, it still makes a great family tablet at such an affordable price. Units are in stock and ready to ship at press time in both Space Gray and Silver, so you won't have to wait long to begin enjoying the device.

To put the $199 price in perspective, the cheapest iPad 10th Generation price is $100 more at press time (now on sale for $299 in Blue). The iPad 9th Gen supports the first-generation Apple Pencil, which is also marked down at Amazon.
