The poker-inspired, deck-building roguelike "Balatro+" is coming to Apple Arcade this fall, allowing players to craft their ultimate deck and achieve victory.
In Balatro+, players use joker cards to create different poker hands, each with unique abilities. The objective is to collect enough chips to outdo challenging blinds while discovering hidden bonus hands and decks. As players advance through Balatro+'s world, accompanied by a dreamy and retro-futuristic synthwave soundtrack, the goal is to reach the boss blind, defeat the final ante, and emerge victorious.
Balatro+ will be available to play on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.
It was previously released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. It also has both a Windows and macOS release via Steam, which can be purchased outright for $14.99.
The game is widely beloved by players and critics alike, garnering a 90 on Metacritic, a 91 on PC gamer, and a 97% positivity rating on Steam.
Apple is also adding even more games to Apple Arcade throughout September and October, including:
Available September 5
- NFL Retro Bowl '25
- Monster Train+
- Puzzle Sculpt
Available October 3
- NBA 2k25 Arcade Edition
- Food Truck Pup+

I hope this isn't a long exclusive. Love the game on my Mac and would play the hell out of it on my iPhone, but for now I prefer to buy games, not subscriptions.
