Jessica Chastain takes on the high-stakes world of domestic terrorism in Apple TV+'s new investigative thriller "The Savant."
"The Savant" follows an undercover investigator as she embeds herself in online hate groups, hoping to stop extremist acts before they happen. The investigator, known only as "the Savant," is played by Jessica Chastain, known for her roles in films such as "Interstellar" and "The Martian", and series such as "Scenes from a Marriage" and "George & Tammy."
The eight-part limited series also stars Nnamdi Asomugha, Cole Doman, Jordana Spiro, Trinity Lee Shirley, Toussaint Francois Battiste, and guest stars Pablo Schreiber. The first two episodes premiere on September 26, with one new episode following each Friday through November 7.
"The Savant" joins Apple TV+'s library of other thrillers. This includes such titles as the neo-noir thriller "Highest 2 Lowest," and long-running Apple TV+ series "Slow Horses."
Additionally, another thriller, "Down Cemetery Road," is set to premiere on October 29.
