Alogic has announced a new 32-inch display with a 6K resolution and a Mac-compatible touchscreen — the first of its kind, the company says.
Dubbed the Clarity 6K Touch with Fold Stand, the first thing you notice about this monitor is its huge 32-inch display. Add the premium-looking squared-off bezels and a glossy finish, and you definitely get Apple Studio Display vibes.
But that's where the similarities end. This monitor supports a 6K resolution of 6016 x 3384, which is more than the 5K resolution of Apple's monitor. The Alogic monitor has a maximum 60Hz refresh rate and 99% Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 support and tops out at 400 nits of brightness.
Apple's Studio Display (on sale now) is smaller at 27 inches, so its 5K resolution isn't really an issue. The Studio Display also matches the Alogic's 60Hz maximum refresh rate, but its 600-nit brightness is an upgrade for those working in a bright environment.
If it's the size that counts for you, the 32-inch Pro Display XDR is the better comparison. It has the same 6K resolution, this time at a 500-nit SDR brightness that tops out at 1,000 when viewing HDR content.
The Pro Display XDR also sits at the same 60Hz refresh rate, but it's considerably more expensive. Starting at $4,999, you really need to want all the HDR and local dimming features to go the Pro Display XDR route.
Back to the Alogic, you can connect your new monitor to your laptop and charge it at up to 60W, but that's pretty standard at this point. The fun really starts when you look at the second half of this thing's name — "Fold Stand."
First, though, there's the touchscreen. It sports 10 points of multitouch support and can be used with a stylus, so it's perfect for designers, architects, and more. But who wants to poke their finger at their monitor, anyway?
Nobody, which is why that Fold Stand comes into play. Similar to Microsoft's Surface Studio computers, this Alogic can be moved to the perfect position for tapping and whatnot.
In upright mode, the monitor acts like any other. But you can also move it to a flatter position to suit your particular needs and workflows. Magic? No, but close.
Unfortunately, all of that magic-adjacent tech comes at a price. The Clarity 6K Touch with Fold Stand will cost $2,000 (A Studio Display starts at $1,599) when it goes on sale in the middle of October 2025.
Alogic also announced a raft of less costly displays, including a 32-inch monitor with a 4K resolution and touchscreen support for $1,800. The 32-inch Aspekt UHD 4K Touch doesn't have the fancy folding stand, though.
What the Aspekt lineup does have to offer is a special docking area designed specifically to house an M4 Mac mini. It also has built-in gigabit Ethernet connectivity and more.
The result? This monitor could be the closest thing you'll get to the clean looks of an iMac without settling for the 24-inch display, albeit at a cost. Both touch and non-touch versions are available, with prices starting at $1,300.
