Apple TV+ has broken records at the Emmys with more wins than ever before — and with "The Studio" becoming the most-winning freshman comedy ever.

Apple TV+ had already had a record number of nominations for the 77th Emmy Awards, and then on September 7, 2025, the streamer won 15 awards during the ceremony's first night. Now the second and higher-profile ceremony has upped that total to 22, chiefly because of drama "Severance," and comedy "The Studio."

"Slow Horses" won the outstanding drama directing award, but the night belonged to "The Studio" which, as a comedy in its first season, set a new Emmy record with 13 wins. Those included Outstanding Comedy Series, and Outstanding Writing.

"Severance" was the most-awarded drama of the night, with 8 wins. Those included acting awards for Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, and Merritt Wever, plus outstanding cinematography and title design.

"Tonight's wins — from Seth and Evan's sharp comedy, to Britt and Tramell's powerful work on 'Severance' — show how great stories connect with audiences everywhere," Jamie Erlicht, Apple's head of Worldwide Video said in a statement. "Huge congratulations to all of tonight's nominees and winners. Your creativity keeps us inspired."

"What an unforgettable, record-setting night for Seth, Evan, and 'The Studio' creative team," Zack Van Amburg, Apple's head of Worldwide Video, added. "It has meant the world to all of us at Apple to watch fans embrace this series, alongside the year's most-celebrated drama, 'Severance', and the acclaimed 'Slow Horses'."
