As it always does, the Apple Store has a gift card offer with iPhone, Mac, iPad, or AirPods purchase. Like it always has been, there are better Black Friday sales elsewhere that actually save you cash.
Apple's Black Friday & Cyber Monday shopping event runs from November 28 to December 1 and covers nearly every current device Apple sells. The promotion centers on Apple Gift Cards, the value of which varies by product.
Qualifying purchases get a gift card automatically at checkout, making the event easy to use for anyone shopping first party. Carrier-connected iPhones remain excluded, and availability can shift depending on the store or region.
Shoppers who already plan to buy directly from Apple see the strongest return, since the gift card helps cover accessories, Apple services, or a future device upgrade. The card also softens the overall cost at a time when many buyers are comparing Apple Store pricing against broader Black Friday deals.
Amazon is running its Black Friday Deals Week sale on Apple and more, with instant discounts that often beat Apple's deals. More on that can be found below and in our Amazon Black Friday Deals Week roundup.

Apple includes its newest entry models in the event. Both iPhones share the same gift-card tier.

AirPods deals: Black Friday gift card amounts for all models
AirPods receive one of the strongest audio-related offers. All three current models qualify.
Apple TV & Home deals: Apple's gift card offer for HomePod and Apple TV 4K
Apple includes two home products in the event. Both use the same value.

- Beats Solo 4 — $50
- Beats Studio Buds Plus — $50

What these offers mean for Apple shoppers
Apple's shopping event is an easy way to cut the cost of buying direct, and the gift-card values clearly favor the Mac lineup. Mac shoppers get the highest return, which makes the promotion more compelling for laptop and desktop buyers than for anyone upgrading an iPhone.
The card amounts also give shoppers a reliable benchmark when comparing Apple Store pricing with third-party Black Friday deals. Buyers can factor the credit into the total cost and decide whether Apple's offer or a retailer discount delivers better value.
Retailers still beat Apple's prices in many cases, but the gift card narrows the difference for people who prefer purchasing straight from Apple. The added credit also carries real weight for anyone planning to buy accessories or Apple services after the holidays.
More savings from third-party Black Friday retailers
Amazon's Black Friday pricing often cuts deeper than Apple's gift-card values once you compare final totals. Several iPads drop well below Apple's standard pricing, including the iPad A16 at $279.99, the iPad mini 7 at $399, and the iPad Air 11-inch M3 at $449.
These discounts are $100 to $150 off, which exceeds Apple's $100 card for every iPad in the shopping event.
Apple Watch deals follow the same trend. The Apple Watch SE 2 falls to $159.99 with a $90 reduction on Amazon, the Apple Watch Series 11 is $50 off at Amazon, and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 drops to $599 with a $200 cut on Amazon.
Apple's event includes only a $50 card for its watch lineup, so Amazon's direct markdowns come out ahead by a wide margin.
Mac pricing leans even further toward retailers. The 13-inch MacBook Air M4 dips to $749 with a $250 discount on Amazon, and some 16-inch MacBook Pro configurations fall to $3,499 with $500 off on Amazon.
For Mac, the standard M4 Mac mini is down to $479 with a $120 discount on Amazon, and upgraded models are on sale as well.
There are Mac deals up to $500 on current models, which can be found in our Price Guide. Shoppers open to last-generation hardware also see strong savings. The standard M4 14-inch MacBook Pro drops to $1,299 at B&H, offering one of the lowest prices of the season.
AirPods and Beats also see stronger price cuts outside Apple's event. AirPods Max drop to $429.99 with a $120 discount on Amazon, and Beats Studio Pro fall to $169.95 with $180 off on Amazon.
Apple offers a $75 card for AirPods and a $50 card for Beats, so the straight cash discounts at Amazon produce a lower final price in many cases.
Amazon also discounts accessories that Apple doesn't include in its promotion. AirTags drop to $17.97 for a single pack on Amazon and $64.98 for a four-pack on Amazon, offering savings Apple doesn't match during the shopping event.
Shoppers who prefer buying direct still get value from the bundled credit, but anyone focused on the lowest possible price often finds stronger deals through retailers offering direct Black Friday markdowns.
Buyers using Apple's Corporate Employee Purchase Program or its Veterans and Military Purchase Program won't qualify for the gift-card promotion. Apple treats those store fronts as discounted portals, so purchases made through them are excluded from the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping event.
And, if you choose Apple's gift card offer, on your receipt, you'll see two line items. The first is the hardware, with a deduction for the value of the gift card. The second will a charge for the gift card, bringing the combination up to the original price of the device.
