Apple TV is expanding its psychological thriller lineup with a limited series adaptation of Araminta Hall's "Imperfect Women", coming in 2026.

Annie Weisman, creator of the Apple TV dramedy "Physical", is back with another project for the small screen. This time, it's based on Araminta Hall's gripping, immersive novel, "Imperfect Women."

The story follows three lifelong friends as a murder shatters their decades-long friendship. The story, as Apple TV describes, "explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that irrevocably alter our lives."

The limited series' first two episodes will debut on Wednesday, March 18. A new episode every Wednesday through April 29, for a total of eight episodes.

The series will star Emmy Award winners Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington. It also stars Kate Mara, known for her role on "House of Cards," "For All Mankind"'s Joel Kinnaman, and Leslie Odom Jr., who also starred in Apple TV's since-cancelled "Central Park".

"Imperfect Women" joins Apple TV's ever-expanding psychological thriller catalog. Recently, Apple TV announced that it would be bringing "The Teacher," another psychological thriller, to the service.

"Pluribus" is another psychological thriller that has done quite well for itself. The American Film Institute honored "Pluribus" with an award, and it's been nominated for the Golden Globes' Best Television Series in the drama category.
