Yet again, Apple TV has done well at the Critics Choice Awards, with seven wins including three for "The Studio" and two for the automotive sports epic "F1."
It's the start of a new year and Apple TV has already secured the first awards of 2026 for its shows. On Sunday, it added seven more gongs to its trophy cabinet, thanks to a strong showing at the 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards.
The seven wins are headed up by "The Studio," with a win for Best Comedy Series. Lead Seth Rogen scored with Best Actor in a Comedy Series, and Ike Barinholtz was honored with Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
The second-highest showing for Apple TV was "F1," the motorsports drama starring Brad Pitt. Stephen Mirrione secured Best Editing, while Al Nelson, Gwendolyn Yates Whittle, Gary A. Rizzo, Juan Peralta, and Gareth John won Best Sound for the film.
Current flagship show "Severance" also made an appearance, getting Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Tramell Tillman. Rhea Seehorn also won Best Actress in a Drama Series for "Pluribus."
According to Apple's count, Apple Original films, documentaries, and series have amassed 672 wins in total, as well as 3,028 award nominations.
Previous Critics Choice Awards wins include "Pachinko" for Best Foreign Language Series in 2023, "Ted Lasso" repeatedly sweeping the top comedy categories, and Troy Kotsur becoming the first deaf actor to be honored with a Critics Choice Award in 2022 as Best Supporting Actor in "CODA."
The Critics Choice Awards haul follow after an exceptionally strong showing by Apple TV at the Emmy Awards in September 2025. At the time, it secured a record 22 awards, with "Severance" getting eight wins and "The Studio" hitting 13.
