It's already been a busy award season for Apple TV thanks to its stacked year of programming, and the Writers Guild Awards recognizes "Pluribus," "The Studio," and "Severance" with award nominations.
The Oscars might be the big award show of the season, but Apple TV is being recognized in nearly every event, big and small. Of course, Apple keeps count so every nomination just adds to the already incredible count — 687 wins and 3,229 nominations as of January 22.
The Writers Guild Awards 2026 nominations add nine to that total, with four going to Pluribus. Apple didn't get any nods for its films here, but one of its few children's shows did get a nomination.
Here are all of the nominations given to Apple TV properties:
- Pluribus
- Drama Series
- New Series
- Episodic Drama: "Charm Offensive"
- Episodic Drama: "Got Milk"
- The Studio
- Comedy Series
- New Series
- Episodic Comedy: "Prelude"
- Severance
- Drama Series
- The First Snow of Fraggle Rock
- Children's Episodic, Long Form, and Specials
Pluribus has proven quite popular and has already been nominated for multiple awards this season and took home a Golden Globe. It has been sharing the spotlight with The Studio, though Severance seems to be keeping itself in the discussion after its second season.
Apple TV shows and movies have been nominated for Baftas, Producers Guild Awards, the 32nd Actor Awards, and the American Cinema Editors awards. F1 was nominated for four Oscars, though it faces some tough competition this year.
The awards season is always quite busy for fans of TV and cinema, and Apple's increasing influence on the industry shows up in force. While Apple never made a bid for backlog content, its lineup of original content is now quite competitive given its approach to quality over quantity.
