Apple's push to build momentum around its Formula 1 partnership continues as the rolled out another promotional clip tied to the racing series.

In a new short video posted to X on Tuesday, Apple CEO Tim Cook gets a golf cart tune-up courtesy of Max Verstappen, the four-time consecutive Formula 1 World Driver Champion. In the post, Cook playfully challenges Verstappen to a race "next time."

Verstappen reposted the video to his own profile, playfully asking Cook, "What's the speed limit at Apple Park?"

The video comes as part of Apple's latest effort to promote its acquisition of F1 streaming rights. Apple TV became the official US broadcaster of Formula 1 in October 2025 when it signed a five-year deal that would extend through the 2030 season.

Apple has been building up its partnership with F1 for some time now. Apple TV was the home of "F1: The Movie," which has since become the most watched film on the streaming service. It's also now Brad Pitt's highest-grossing feature across his entire career.

It also seems like there may be a sequel in the works.

In January, Red Bull's 2026 Formula 1 launch was Shot on iPhone. Additionally, the Apple Vision Pro made an appearance, as presenters wore the headset during segments tied to the Red Bull Ford Powertrains.

The 2026 F1 season just started on March 7, and Apple will do everything in its power to not only sustain, but also grow the F1 fanbase, both at home and abroad. This will include everything from F1-curated playlists on Apple Music, exclusive track-side content for the Apple Vision Pro, or promotional content appearing in Apple's other apps.
