Apple is expanding its collection of Apple Arcade games with "Dredge+," "Unpacking+," and "My Very Hungry Caterpillar+" in April — two of which are App Store Award winners.

While Apple may not be adding a ton of games in April, the three games coming next month are surprisingly varied. This time, we'll see the addition of a survival horror game, a zen puzzle game, and a game geared towards the preschool crowd.

Dredge+

The first game to arrive is Dredge+, described as a "sinister fishing adventure." Players must captain their trawler across a remote archipelago, sell their catch, and upgrade their vessel as they dredge the depths for long buried secrets.

Dredge+Dredge+Dredge+

Dredge+ was the 2025 Apple Design Award for Interaction and the App Store 2025 iPad game of the year. Set to arrive on Apple Arcade+ on April 2, Dredge+ will include all content released for the title, including the base game, unique gear, a new biome, and more.

Unpacking+

The much-beloved genre-bending Unpacking+ is coming to Apple Arcade on April 2. Part interior design game and part block-fitting puzzle, Unpacking+ asks players to craft their own narrative through rich environmental storytelling.

Unpacking+

Unpacking has taken home many awards since its launch in 2021, including two Game Developers' Choice Awards, multiple awards from publications such as The New Yorker, Forbes, and The Financial Times. It also took home the Cultural Impact App Store Award in 2023.

My Very Hungry Caterpillar+

Based on the titular character of the classic children's book, My Very Hungry Caterpillar+ tasks young players with caring for their own pet caterpillar. They can feed him, play with him, and as he grows larger, players will unlock new activities to help their caterpillar grow into a beautiful Butterfly.

My Very Hungry Caterpillar+

My Very Hungry Caterpillar+ will inch onto Apple Arcade on April 2.

In addition to three new games, Apple Arcade will be adding in new content for some of its current titles. On April 9, Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Puyo Puyo franchise. A new game mode, Puyo Puyo Garden, will allow players to grow, nurture, and battle their own unique Puyo.

Apple Arcade is currently $6.99 per month and is included in the Apple One Individual, Family, and Premier bundles. Arcade Originals can be played across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, while App Store Greats can be played on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro.
