iTunes 12.4.3 update tackles problems with playlists from iOS devices

Hot on the heels of new developer betas, Apple on Monday released iTunes 12.4.3, solving a glitch with the way the jukebox software handles playlists.

Previously iTunes sometimes wouldn't recognize playlist edits made on iOS devices, according to official notes. Mac owners can download the update through the Mac App Store, while Windows users can make use of the Apple Software Update utility.

Recent iTunes versions have concentrated mostly on minor bugfixes. 12.4.2, for instance, dealt with Apple Music suddenly stopping when encountering tracks less than a minute long.

The next major iTunes update will presumably come this September alongside iOS 10, since Apple is planning to revamp the Apple Music interface across all platforms, even CarPlay.
